![]() According to the U.S. National Institute of Mental Health, suicide is the ninth leading cause of death in the United States, and perhaps most tragically is the third leading cause of death among young people aged 15 to 24.
Before making an irrevocable choice, you owe it to yourself to talk about it with someone else. www.growthhouse.org/suicide.html is a useful resource I have just found. If this is relevant to you, please take five minutes to look at the resources and links they have to offer...

![]() Unfortunately, teens and young adults don't think of their problems as "temporary." I can remember being a teenager and thinking a fight with my best friend or a bad grade on a test was the absolute end of the world. At the time, nobody could have convinced me it wouldn't matter in a few weeks.

![]() Thanks for posting the link. Any help in dealing with someone who may be suicidal is welcome. I'm sure some of the posters here know from personal experience how challenging it is to try to help someone in that state.
I remember talking to someone who'd been admitted to a hospital after a suicide attempt, and they said they really didn't know what they were doing at the time. |

![]() One should fight against the problem but must not do suicide at any cost.Because is not the one one should do.Life is to live and to fight with the struggles and not to do suicide.
