Hi Everyone

I am a student studying professional gardening. I have been asked to design a garden border in a memorial garden at a well known Childrens Hospice in Birmingham UK. I was enquiring as to whether anyone has any ideas or thoughts on what plants i could possibly use for the design that would fit in with the purpose of the garden. I know this may be a sensitive issue, but would appreciate any ideas or advice..I want to do this properley and sensitively, and do not want to use any plants or flowers that may cause offence or upset anyone visiting the garden..

Many Thanks

Dear Keeling,
I made a garden for my son. I have plants that attract butterflies and a small running pond. I have never been in a hospice for children as my son left us at home but I have volunteered in an adult hospice. What impressed me the most was to see beautiful blooming flowers. It really didn't matter what kind just a variety of beautiful colors as in a beautiful spring day. Children love bright colors.
Keeping The Promise,
Linda
