unfortunately we can't avoid pain and suffering in our lives sad things do happen to us all but there does come a time when we have gone through all the stages of grief we can start to pick up these shreds of shattered pieces that have become our lives and move forward As we remember our loved ones their strength and love seems to overpower us giving us this hope of happiness in the future and it does come to us all in the end i like to think of our loved ones as our guardian angels who come to us when we are ready and lift us out of the mire show us the way and say i need you to be happy
i call our angels hope

hope by hazel harris

hope is an angel with wings
who drags me out the mire
and lifts me up towards the sun
where pain and hurt expire
my arms outstretched to touch the sky
my soul finds solace from above
and i know this better day has come
where all i feel is love

SLIM ENCOUNTER a muse to capture by david suter

Whilst drifting drops of hidden tears
Ran cheekily between pierced ears
Disguised as laughter for shyness sake
Collected in her hearty lake

I understood the tale concealed
A brokenness that never healed
The tiny hint was large to me
A closeness others failed to see

She glided lightly weightlessly
Her burden reflected ,gripping me
To share and hope her inner frame
Would one day heal and as quickly drain

And every joint where angles show
The drumming tightness stretched tightly so
Interrupting the sweeping flow
That only tender artists know

And as I lifted frame to hue
I longed to brush ,I think she knew
Her eyes dried slightly and gave further clue
Amused ,her smile could soon be new...

Because I have loved life, I shall have no sorrow to die.
I have sent up my gladness on wings, to be lost in the blue of the sky.
I have run and leaped with the rain, I have taken the wind to my breast.
My cheeks like a drowsy child to the face of the earth I have pressed.
Because I have loved life, I shall have no sorrow to die.

I have kissed young love on the lips, I have heard his song to the end,
I have struck my hand like a seal in the loyal hand of a friend.
I have known the peace of heaven, the comfort of work done well.
I have longed for death in the darkness and risen alive out of hell.
Because I have loved life, I shall have no sorrow to die.

I gave a share of my soul to the world, when and where my course is run.
I know that another shall finish the task I surely must leave undone.
I know that no flower, nor flint was in vain on the path I trod.
As one looks on a face through a window, through life I have looked on God,
Because I have loved life, I shall have no sorrow to die.

Amelia Burr, American poet (1878 - 1968)

My friend death'

Death is all around us,
for all who live will die,
regardless I don't fear death,
and here's my reasons why.

Death you are a friend,
a comfort that's so real,
when pain and illness overcome,
you show us how to heal.

Still so many fear you,
you're so little understood,
one day they'll see the truth,
that your only role is good.

Parents see their child as stolen,
as your caring arms unfold,
all your good is lost to tears
as their child for them you hold.

So gentle is your way,
heaven can't be cruel,
it's only ignorance of man,
that makes him his own fool.

In good health your names not spoken,
it's as if you don't exist,
so is it any wonder death,
the good you do is missed.

You are the door to heaven,
one day they'll see your splendor,
never as the taker,
always as Gods sender.

You walk with birth as one,
loved ones past live safe with you,
you show us to the light,
when this test called life is through.

All who wrongly fear you,
one day will understand,
as in heaven they are greeted,
led safely by your hand.

this is a beautiful piece of poetry about love we can use this two ways one as he says as a jar of love beautiful memories of loving special moments shared with our families saved forever in a jar especially for the younger generation children have the imagination the thoughts of magic of dreams a jar of love would be treasured for all their lives
the second way is for us who grieve this love in a jar we could use every time we have a memory of our loved ones that has made us smile again we could write it down and keep it forever what a beautiful tribute to our loved ones that would be xx

LOVE IN A JAR by david suter
take some love
Seal it in a screw top jar
Label the jar
MY LOVE ALWAYS

Keep the jar warm on the top shelf
With lovely thoughts everyday
Adding more LOVE each lovely day

Leave some instructions....

My body has flown
But the LOVE here has grown
Enough for all time
So open with wine

Please unscrew the jar
So my LOVE travels far
And drink to our times
So I'm in all your minds

Don't shed cold tears
But remember warm years
Each time I talked to you
Each time I saw you
Each time I hugged you
Each time...
I took that special moment
And I sealed our shared love in this jar

When we all exchanged love
I went to this jar on the top shelf
With the love, and said a little prayer

Jar above
Look after this love
One day I will pass
All the love in this glass
So jar do your best
With added love interest
So when it's withdrawn
OUR PAST LOVE IS REBORN xxx

A tired body passed away
They grew wings instead of feet
And As they flew they felt so well
Their ANGEL was complete.. by David Suter

UNDERSTANDING. HEAVEN

If when we shrink from here to there
Be plucked from earth and times We wear
With loved ones that at present share
The unknown destiny that we bare

And leaving all We lhold so sincere
The loved ones that we hold so dear
And tested with that unknown fear
That where we go is never clear

Be sure of this, that I believe
It's better that we have to leave
Designed by god
For us to grieve
When cast away from earthly weave

For if it were that this life with
The pleasures it's abundant with
Could last forever as we live
Some souls would take and never give

This beginning shows us how
Prepares us for the future,now
And as we take the final bow
A freedom that it will allow

So when we meet in THIS NEW place
Pain and anger have no face
This second time will LAST for good
Because for once we understood...xx

Beauty from Ashes

Tears like waves come pounding against the shore of my heart—
Strong and fierce, they threaten to sweep me under.
Yet, as the currents wash over me, stillness calms my soul,
And I hear Your gentle voice calling through the crashing thunder.

Day after day, stormy seas batter with their endless fury—
So sudden, so final, the unrelenting, all-consuming grasp of death.
About to drown, I see a glimpse of sunlight through the clouds,
And Your hand reaches me as, once again, I catch my breath.

As the days turn to weeks, then to months, and finally years—
Ceaselessly the waves keep coursing steady to the shore.
Even still, wet and salty, though now dancing with shimmering light,
Reflecting beauty, carrying comfort from memories of before.

I welcome them now, for they are precious, they are sweet—
They bring hope built on love and joy borne from sorrow,
Reminding me who awaits in a future not so very far away,
When the stain of tears will forever cease in our eternal tomorrow.

I'm learning to embrace all You give, even when it's taken away—
Discovering grace in sovereign love, when Your plan deals me pain.
For beauty does come from ashes, and morning dawns from the night,
And in the end life's fullness yet unknown shall unite us once again.

HEROES NEVER LEAVE YOU

When you lose your hero
The memory weeps from the wound
That opened on the day of loss
But now and then resumes

When you lose your everything
You seek out things to blind
The soreness of the feeling
That heroes leave behind

When you lose your hero
Your tears ,won't wash away
The loss and utter loneliness
That make you feel that way

When you least expect it
The hurting makes you cry
You have to find a quite place
For the hurting to pass by

When you lose your hero
Find ponds of peaceful air
The freedom that they offer

It's As if your heroes there.........xxx

Heroes never leave you

Omg a message from YOUR loved ones who left you sad(don't be,there's no hurry)

Are you alone please don't be
I watch your every step
I see how you hold onto our memories
I see how you clutch the moments we shared

There is no need to be sad
I am so very happy
I really need you to realise
I am still with you

I honestly never left you all
I watch your achievements
I watch you laugh
Sometimes you cry
I see that.....
And send my love each time
Sometimes it doesn't arrive as quickly as you require.
So I send sunshine,or a song or a breeze

If you believe in my words
It will arrive,faster,stronger,
Things are different here
There is no hurry
No worry
No hurt
No pain

Please be patient we will all be together again
There is no hurry
Xxxxx
