Text links   You can place these little ads in lots of places, such as on your website as a text link (make it blue and underlined to increase the clickthrough rate) or as a signature file in your emails etc. Personal recommendations with text links have the highest clickthrough rates.  One very effective way to make use of these headlines is to use them as text links on your website. Very often text links will outperform banners or graphical ads. You can also create your own text links; see the Affiliate FAQ for details of how to do this. I suggest making them blue and underlined (as most people look for blue links to click on). Affiliate FAQ How do I log into my account?   You log into your account using the password and login details in your welcome email, which was sent to the email address you used to sign up with. You should receive this email straight away when you sign up. If you do not receive it, please contact us and we will send it again.   How do I get to the coded banners and text links?   Log into your account as described above. This takes you to the Home page of your control panel. Click on the Links & Tools menu option. This brings up the first page of text links. To see the additional pages of text links, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Next.   To see the banner ads, just under the purple menu bar of the Links & Tools page you will see Text Links > Banners. Click on Banners. This brings up the first page of banner ads. To see the additional pages of banner ads, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Next.   I can't see my affiliate ID when I look at the code for the banners and text links. Are you sure it's in there?   Yes, absolutely. Each banner and text link has what is called a 'click number' which is totally unique to you. It looks something like 'Clk=1234567', and the advert is tracked using this number. Rest assured that all sales will be credited to your account.   I've got a few different websites. If I use the same banner or text ad on each site, will I be able to see which ad is working best and sending the most business?   You would need to use different ads on different sites to see which ad is doing best and which site the most revenue is coming from. In your control panel, when you click on Links & Tools you will then be able to see which ads are getting the most clicks and the most sales. If you use the same ad on both sites the control panel does not separate out the results for each site. It just tracks the overall results for the banner in question, no matter where it is.   What can I do with my standard affiliate link?   The standard affiliate link (the first link at the top of each Links & Tools page) can be used in a website, as a link in an email, offline promotions, any plain text applications or even link it to your own images or banners. It hyperlinks to the ebook sales page (the Store). The link will look something like this: http://www.totalbusinesscart.com/app/?af=yourIDnumber When the link is clicked, we will track your clicks, leads and sales. Can I create my own text links using my standard affiliate link? Of course; we provide a wide range of text links but it is nice to have the freedom to create your own. To do this follow the instructions below, in each case replacing the first piece of red text with your own standard affiliate link and the second piece of red text with the text you would like to appear as the link. Don't make your own text red unless you want a red link!
